June 4, 2014 (WASHINGTON DC) Committee on House Administration Ranking Member Robert A. Brady (D-PA) joined Democratic leadership and many of his Democratic colleagues in the fight against redundant, unnecessary, and restrictive proof of citizenship laws as voter registration requirements. Along with Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer, and Assistant Democratic Leader James Clyburn, Brady was joined by the chairs of the Congressional Black Caucus, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, and the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus.

Tomorrow, the Committee on House Administration, in conjunction with the Office of the Historian and the Office of the Clerk, will release Hispanic Americans in Congress; 1822-2012. Published by the Government Printing Office, this book is the third in a series authorized in the 107th Congress to highlight the contribution of women and minorities to the institution.

April 2, 2014 (Washington, D.C.) "Today's decision is yet another step toward the complete destruction of our campaign funding system. Overturning aggregate limits for individuals drives our elections farther into the hands of well-heeled special interests and out of the hands of the American people. The Supreme Court has long held that regulation of campaign contributions is a Constitutional exercise of Congress' regulatory authority and this sudden departure from precedent is another example of a disturbing pattern.

March 19, 2014 (Washington, D.C.) Committee on House Administration Ranking Member, Robert Brady (D-PA) was disappointed with the decision of a Federal District Court in Kobach v. United States Election Assistance Commission. This decision requires the Election Assistance Commission to update the federal voter registration form to include proof of citizenship to meet the voter eligibility requirements of Arizona and Kansas.
