Top Dem Statement on President Trump’s Attempt to Withhold Back Pay from Federal Employees, Including Capitol Police Officers

Rochester, New York – Rep. Joe Morelle (NY-25), the top Democrat on the Committee on House Administration, issued the following statement on President Trump and his Administration’s attempt to withhold back pay from federal employees, including Capitol Police officers:

“The Trump Administration is threatening to punish the men and women who serve our country. His bullying is illegal, un-American, and simply wrong. Sadly, it’s what we’ve come to expect.”
