Ranking Member Morelle Statement on Violent Threat Against Rep. Pramila Jayapal

WASHINGTON – Rep. Joe Morelle (NY-25), the top Democrat on the Committee on House Administration, issued the following statement condemning the hateful, violent threats against Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal’s life:

“Rep. Jayapal’s commitment to nonviolence was met with an Arizona Republican’s threat of execution. It is as disgraceful as it is dangerous. Left unchecked, this hatred puts lives at risk.”
