Ranking Member Morelle Statement on Failed Rule Vote

WASHINGTON – Today, Rep. Joe Morelle (NY-25), the top Democrat on the Committee on House Administration, released the following statement after House Republicans’ failed attempt to jeopardize voting rights:

“I am grateful that House Republicans’ SAVE Act is no closer to becoming law. I will continue to fight against this bill to protect our democracy. House Democrats will always defend the freedom to vote for every eligible American because it’s their right.”
