Ranking Member Morelle Statement on Continued Weaponization of Justice Department

Rochester, New York – Rep. Joe Morelle (NY-25), the top Democrat on the Committee on House Administration, issued this statement after the Justice Department filed multiple lawsuits seeking voters’ personal information:

“Donald Trump continues to weaponize the Department of Justice. Rather than protect our democracy, the DOJ files baseless lawsuits that are only clear and corrupt efforts to intimidate voters and election administrators.”
