Ranking Member Morelle Statement on Catherine Szpindor’s Retirement
Rochester, New York – Rep. Joe Morelle (NY-25), the top Democrat on the Committee on House Administration, issued this statement thanking Catherine Szpindor, the first female Chief Administrative Officer of the House of Representatives, for her nearly 15 years of steadfast leadership and commitment:
“Catherine’s stewardship of the House of Representatives on behalf of the American people has been nothing short of exemplary. Her tenure as a House Officer has spanned multiple Congresses, which is a testament to her professionalism, integrity, and the trust she's earned. Catherine has served and excelled in multiple roles, spearheading cybersecurity initiatives and developing innovative solutions since joining the House community in 2011. Her steady hand guided the House through many challenging times. I'm deeply grateful to Catherine for her leadership and dedication to making the People’s House a better institution. I congratulate my friend Catherine Szpindor on a job well done and wish her and her family the best in this next chapter.”
