Morelle Statement on Mail-in Voting Executive Order

WASHINGTON – Rep. Joe Morelle (NY-25), the top Democrat on the Committee on House Administration, issued the following statement after President Trump signed an executive order calling for the Trump Administration to take over our elections and limit which eligible voters can engage in their constitutional right to vote:
 
“Donald Trump fears the American people and is willing to violate the Constitution to stop them from voting. His Executive Order is illegal, dangerous and subversive. It will not stand.”
