Morelle Statement Against President Trump’s State of the Union Election Lies

WASHINGTON – Rep. Joe Morelle (NY-25), the top Democrat on the Committee on House Administration, issued this statement following President Trump’s State of the Union address filled with lies about our elections:

“Tonight, President Trump lied over and over again to the American People about the integrity and security of our elections. These lies are a desperate attempt to rig the midterm elections and cling to power after failing to make life more affordable for all Americans. This attempted takeover of our elections will fail. The American people will decide this election, not Donald Trump.”
