Extreme MAGA Republicans Deny Election Results of 2020 in Committee Vote

Today, at the Committee on House Administration markup on the Big Lie bill, Committee Republicans voted against an amendment confirming Joseph R. Biden, Jr. won the 2020 Presidential election.
 
The amendment was introduced by Ranking Member Joe Morelle, who said, “This should be the easiest amendment vote we take today, since this is just a purely factual finding, which no serious person can dispute.”
 
Every Republican member of the committee in attendance voted against the amendment.
 
The Big Lie bill is an anti-voter, corporate money, and extremist bill designed to appease election deniers. It is based on misinformation, restricts the freedom to vote, burdens local election officials, and expands dark money.
