Committee on House Administration Statement on New U.S. Capitol Police Chief

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Committee on House Administration Chairperson Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.) and Ranking Member Rodney Davis (R-Ill.) issued the following statement on the Capitol Police Board's selection of Steven A. Sund as the 10^th Chief of Police of the U.S. Capitol Police:

"We congratulate Steven Sund on his selection as the next Chief of the United States Capitol Police. His long career in law enforcement and his experience serving as Assistant and Acting Chief of Police give us confidence that he can excel as a leader and asset to the Department.
