Brady Welcomes Democrats Lofgren and Vargas to the Committee on House Administration

February 5, 2013 (Washington, D.C.) Ranking Democrat Robert A. Brady (PA) is pleased to announce Rep. Zoe Lofgren (CA) will return to the Committee on House Administration in the 113th Congress, and welcomes Freshman Rep. Juan Vargas (CA) to the Committee.

"I am glad that Zoe is returning to the Committee" said Brady. "As the former Chairwoman of our Subcommittee on Elections and Ranking Member of our Subcommittee on Oversight, Zoe has a broad and deep understanding of the issues we must deal with in this Congress."

"I'm also looking forward to working with Representative Vargas," Brady continued. "Juan's election to the Committee will represent the energy and perspective of our large freshman class. As a former City Councilman, Assemblyman and Senator, he is no stranger to the institutional matters the Committee considers"

Brady was re-elected Ranking Member in November. Lofgren and Vargas were appointed by Democratic Leader Pelosi, confirmed by the Caucus, and approved by the entire House of Representatives earlier today.
