WASHINGTON, DC – Committee on House Administration Ranking Member Robert A. Brady (D-Pa.) issued the following statement after House Administration Committee Chairman Gregg Harper (R-Miss.) announced his decision not to seek reelection to Congress:

"Gregg Harper is a true servant leader. For nearly a decade, I've worked with Gregg first as a Member of Congress, and now as Chairman of the Committee on House Administration. In our countless interactions over the years, Gregg has been a true gentleman. He has sought bipartisanship where it has been possible, he has managed the House in a truly professional manner, and he has always focused on the people of Mississippi's Third Congressional District. His polite, but results focused approach has made this institution a better place. I wish him and Sidney the very best on the next chapter of their life."
